Since we love all dogs, we welcome pets from all sizes of tiny to huge!  Friendly animal-loving staff will gladly play, cuddle, groom, pet, hike, or train your pets while you’re away. Don't feel guilty about going on vacation; let your pet be spoiled at Stowe Farm. Climate-controlled indoor suites and action-packed activities will keep your canine from getting bored.

At Stowe Farm, your dog's safety, well-being, and happiness are our top priorities.

Our dog boarding facility features climate-controlled indoor suites and soothing music while they nap. Each are 5’x5’ with an in-between wall to help with anxiety and nervousness. Rubber-matted flooring, and a Kuranda cot for each pet , designed for superior comfort and reduces dog's stress.  Pets on vacation at Stowe Farm will have access to their own outdoor exercise pen every morning and afternoon. We also offer doggie dog social hour, and many more activities available for your pets needs.   On-site nature trails, wooded playground, cuddle room, indoor jungle fun is just a start.   Romp around in our large enclosed field set with agility jumps, tunnels, jolly balls and lots of room for a dog to be a dog. {4 ft high fence not for jumpers} A relaxing bath is  recommended before your pet leaves the farm , schedule your pet's spa , we will have them ready to go when you arrive.

 Requirements for boarding:

•  Annual 5-Way Vaccine for protection against canine distemper, canine hepatitis, adenovirus , parainfluenza, and parvovirus.
• Bordetella, protection against  the spread of Kennel cough
• Dogs are required to have a flea and tick treatment before checking in. (advantix, frontline, seresto are a few example's}
• Proof of up to date vaccinations must be shown or emailed

Information for boarding:

Food: Because we want your pet to feel at home, we feed according to your schedule. If there is anything we can do to make your dog's stay easier, please let us know.  Since many dogs  have sensitive stomachs, owners need to bring their pet’s food. We ask that you provide it packaged and portioned {or bring the measuring  cup } in a sealed container. We will supply food, if you forget to bring your own, for $1.00 a day additional cost.

• Medication: All medication must be labeled and stored in a sealed container. Our trained staff  will administer your pet’s medicine during their stay, so written instructions must be included. Most of all, please inform our staff of any health issues or conditions we should be aware of.
• $10 discount on the day your pet leaves if  you pick up by 11:00 AM.

• Upgrade from the Kuranda cot to a cozy  pet couch : $3.00 per night

Hours

Pet facility is open daily from 8:00AM - 11:00AM  and again from 2:00PM - 5:00PM for drop off and pick up for registered or walk in boarding. We are closed 11am-2pm daily

Reserve your pet’s stay by filling out the Stowe Farm  Reservation Form on this page.  This form goes straight to registration, you will not get a confirmation but your pet will have a room waiting his arrival!  Last minute boarding is excepted either by walk in during business hours or emailing  us for a heads up your on the way.   For board and train email maura@stowefarm.com, include  your goals for your pet so we can evaluate the training level and needs.   Please remember to read important information and requirements listed above to make your check- in smooth.  The pet facility is located at 4 Stowe Road, Millbury, MA. please use the call box outside the door when you arrive.

Because we have numerous animals that need our care, we ask all pet owners to arrive during operation hours we can not assist you during closed hours. Closed daily 11am-2pm

Training

We offer a variety of board and train packages. Does your pet need a few refresher classes for obedience or leash walking while you’re away? We can work with behavioral problems, greetings, barking, socializing, and much more. Just let us know what your canine’s needs and we can get to work right away. Check out our training page for rates and availability.

Bathing

Sign your pet up for a pampering bath before they go home. Just let us know at check-in time! Please note that bathes are required for long stays.
