Horseback Riding Lessons

Learn to Ride a Horse

Whether you are interested in learning to ride, or are hoping to refine your skills, Stowe Farm offers horse riding for all levels. Licensed instructors are available for scheduled lessons year round.

Lessons are offered weekly from Monday-Thursday between 2pm and 7pm. While majority of our classes are groups, we offer private as well. Individuals who are just beginning should schedule 30 minute lessons due to their body not being accustomed to using these new muscles. Group lessons are scheduled by level, and provide the opportunity to learn from peers while making new friends. To become a well-rounded equestrian, we encourage lesson students to stay and groom, handle, and care for their horse.

Lesson Rates & Cancellation Policy

  • 1 Hour Group Lesson - $50

  • 1/2 Hour Semi-private Lesson - $35

For lessons, payment for the month is due during the first week of the month.

We request 24 hour advanced notice in the event of cancellation, and all cancelled lessons must be used within 1 month of purchase.

Anyone who gives no notice or are no-shows are responsible for the entire cost of the lesson.
